Mass
Each Sunday we have a student Mass at 12.05pm. Afterwards we have lunch in the hall and if the weather is nice, there is the opportunity to go on a walk. There are opportunities for students to help out in areas such as the Choir, Reading, Altar Serving, Welcoming, or helping to prepare the lunch after the Mass. Everyone is welcome!Cathsoc
If you are a student you are more than welcome to come along to Cathsoc. This is a weekly event in term time, usually in the Multifaith chaplaincy on the Plymouth University campus. The meetings start at 6pm with prayer, a meal, and then another activity, usually social time/films/badminton/prayer and reflection. This is a great opportunity to meet new friends, explore the Catholic faith, and have a lot of fun! Please sign up to the mailing list in order to receive emails with details of the dates of the meetings, or check the weekly newsletter, available at church on Sundays.Chaplaincy Supper Club
Twice weekly, the chaplaincy house hosts a supper club for students at the university. This can be as simple as tea and cakes, or a full meal depending on the day of the week and how busy the housemates are. We'd love for you to come along, but please let us know in advance whether you're coming so we can provide enough food! Previous menus have included Risotto, Moroccan couscous, Beef Papillote, and Pesto Pasta, as well as a variety of starters and desserts, including homemade chocolate mousse and cheesecake. We run these events on Monday and Thursday, if you'd like to sign up please email us at chaplaincy@damiensplace.co.uk or get in touch via our facebook page. Places are limited so it's first come, first served!
